Lodge style Accommodation

Much of the Lodge has been renovated since we took it over and now has a stainless steel kitchen, new carpets, slow burning fireplaces and updated bathrooms. All this has been done in empathy with the original atmosphere of a ski lodge – a very large but cosy log cabin.

We source all the wood for our fires locally and ethically, only chopping fallen trees. A huge open fireplace warms the living area for guests to enjoy a glass of wine, toast some marshmallows or just relax and read a book. A large drying room is available  for guests to dry off their ski gear and boots. There is a dedicated games area which offers complimentary use of a pool table, ping pong table as well as board games, cards and a book exchange. The kitchen has a large modern oven, chargrill and microwave and is available for complimentary guest use along with a dedicated guest refrigerator.

All bedrooms are heated so when you return from the slopes your room will be at a cosy temperature and the wood fires will be glowing. We offer several different types of rooms. The double with ensuite, four family rooms with double bed, single above and a set of bunks. These rooms have shared bathrooms conveniently located across the hall. We have a group room with bunks which accommodates eight people with shared bathrooms. Finally, a family room for six with ensuite.  All rooms have USB power points. We provide all bedding and Australian wool blankets.

Complimentary tea and coffee is always available at our coffee station.
